The HASG College Ex-Students Association (ESA) hosted ‘Kids Day Out' at the school's picturesque Ingleside campus on Saturday, bringing together 2-4 year old children for a day of fun and games.

The event, which was organised by former students of HASG College who now specialise in Early Childhood and Primary Education, began in the Kindergarten classroom with stations that covered a multitude of activities. These included Painting, Cooking, Reading, Play Dough Fun, Dress Up, Leggo Fun and Art & Craft.

The children, along with their parents, enjoyed lunch and treats beside the playground where outdoor games took centre stage. Each participant was handed a Kids Day Out goodies bag, which included various gifts designed to entertain.
‘Kids Day Out' Project Manager, Houri Boghossian was delighted with the immediate positive response the event received from attending parents.

"Parents were asked to fill out surveys [providing feedback on Kids Day Out], and we are delighted that 100% of respondents want it to become an annual event," she said. "We put a lot of effort into organising this event to ensure it showcased the school's offerings to infants and portrayed the professionalism we, as ex-students of HASG, stand for."

She added: "The survey responses showed that this was achieved - the event was a big hit with parents and children alike."
HASG College Principal, Kaylar Michaelian congratulated the ex-students for putting on such a successful event.

"Much is expected of our ex-students and this event shows they can deliver," he said. "I am told that ‘Kids Day Out' will be the first of many events organised by the HASG College ESA."
