Students are happier and participate in their education more effectively when their ideas are listened to and their opinions valued. Schools also benefit when students are involved in their own learning and the school’s operation. A Student Representative Council (SRC) is one structure which can assist students and schools in achieving this ideal. Our SRC for 2009 consists of:  Dana Manoukian (Yr12) - School Captain Haig Vartoukian (Yr12) - School Captain Lina Markarian (Yr12) - Treasurer Suzy Koupalian (Yr12) - Secretary Anaheed Sarian (Yr11) - Publicity Officer Rosemary Halablian (Yr9) - Publicity Officer Kevork Fattouh (Yr9) - Sports Coordinator Joseph Agon (Yr12) - Sports Coordinator Alycia Egulian (Yr11) - Canteen Officer Antranig Der Tateossian (Yr10) - Environmental Officer Antranig Shoukayan (Yr10) - Library Officer The SRC works under the guidance of Mrs Vicky Vartanian and Mrs Arpy Tavitian. Our main goals are to provide a forum for student opinion, to develop leadership, to promote improvement in the College and most importantly to promote College spirit amongst students.  By working together, we believe these goals can be achieved and we look forward to seeing a great improvement in our College not only for us but for future generations of HASG College students.
